The Sydney Swans will launch the Smithy's VFL season, when they meet the Box Hill Hawks on Friday, March 20 at the Kennedy Community Centre at 12:35pm.
Melbourne Members get double the action with the AFL in action at the MCG on Thursday night against the Hawks, before the VFL side run out the next day.
It will be the Swans first match under new VFL coach Nick Malceski, the past Premiership player and Swans Hall of Famer returning to the club over the off-season.
Sydney finished 18th in 2025, with five wins and 13 losses.
Full fixtures for the 2026 Smithy’s VFL season will be released in coming weeks.
