Last week, the Sydney Swans launched the ISCA Diploma of Sports Management (High Performance), hosting an Orientation Day with participants enrolled in the diploma.
Delivered by The International Sport College Australia, this programme combines elite training with essential sports business knowledge to prepare it’s participants for success in the global sports industry.
Participants began their studies at the world-class Sellers & Colless Centre, Sydney Swans HQ, received a behind the scenes tour of the SCG and change rooms, an overview of the club and ISCA – the values and expectations, before gaining some unique insights Sydney Swans player Errol Gulden, Sydney Swans AFLW co-captain Chloe Molloy, Sydney Swans Football Operations Manager and 2025 Jill Lindsay Scholarship winner Stephanie Maiolo and Sydney Swans staff Andre Cupido.
Participants also received a personalised guernsey as a welcome to the inaugural cohort.
The Diploma is a higher education qualification fully accredited by TEQSA. Students will undertake three subjects per term in business, sports management and high performance, along with their work-integrated learning subject.
The course will form part of the Sydney Swans Institute, the education and leadership arm of the Sydney Swans.
Spots are still open for our first cohort, however limited, the cut off date on Friday, 20 February.
