The Gather Round Breakfast, proudly presented by the Sydney Swans and partnered by R.M Williams will return in 2026 with six exciting panellists announced today.
The entertaining morning will feature insights from some of the sharpest minds in the AFL, while connecting business leaders, community members and fellow footy fans.
Returning to the Gather Round Breakfast are Fox Footy presenters and hosts Garry Lyon and Kath Loughnan, who will take part in the expert panel alongside Tim Watson and Ryan Fitzgerald to talk all things footy.
Tim Watson– Sports journalist and media personality
Watson is a former AFL footballer and coach, sports journalist and media personality. Having played 305 games for Essendon, including three premierships he went on to coach St Kilda in 1999 and 2000 before becoming a prominent and well respected media personality for SEN and Channel 7.
Ryan Fitzgerald - Radio presenter
Ryan "Fitzy" Fitzgerald is an award-winning radio personality, television presenter, comedian and former AFL player. Known for his sense of humour, Fitzy co-hosts Nova's national radio show Fitzy, Wippa & Kate.
Kath Loughnan - Fox Footy presenter
Loughnan is one of the most respected presenters in the country having worked at Fox Sports for well over a decade. Covering mainly AFL and cricket, Loughnan has hosted flagship programs
including AFL360 and AFL Tonight.
Garry Lyon – Fox footy host/presenter
Former Melbourne champion Garry Lyon is one of the most recognisable media personalities in Australia. Having played over 200 games of AFL throughout the 80’s and 90’s, Lyon then moved into the media hosting top rating shows such as The Footy Show, Footy Classified and more recently Fox Footy’s ‘On the Couch’.
AFL CEO Andrew Dillon and Sydney Swans Chairman Andrew Pridham will also return to share their perspectives on the current AFL landscape.
