Malcolm Rosas Jr has earned his first Coles AFL Goal of the Year nomination in the red and white after pulling off a brilliant snap last Saturday against the Gold Coast Suns. The medium forward came up against his old side on Norwood Oval converting an important goal late in the third quarter.
The Swans were leading by just 11 points ahead of the final break. Rosas Jnr was able to gather a clever tap from Charlie Curnow to kick a narrow major while under pressure from his defender.
The new recruit finished the match with two goals, 12 disposals and three tackles to his name.
The Swans welcomed Rosas Jnr to the club in a trade with the Gold Coast Suns on day two of the 2025 Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period. Rosas Jnr played 49 games for the Gold Coast Suns, since being drafted with pick 37 in the 2019 rookie draft.
