The Sydney Swans VFL side will return to Tramway Oval this Sunday afternoon for a double-header clash with the Casey Demons. VFL Head Coach Nick Malceski has named his side with AFL-listed players Ned Bowman and Harry Cunningham to bolster the side.
Cunningham was omitted from the senior team which will take on the Melbourne Demons on the SCG, meanwhile Bowman returns to the team after being sidelined since Round 3 of the VFL.
Peter Ladhams will feature in the Round 6 side after a career best 40 disposals, 47 hitouts, 19 clearances and a goal, while Caiden Cleary is set to be an exciting prospect after notching 37 disposals against Footscray. After kicking five goals each last week, Hayden McLean and Jevan Phillipou will also feature.
The Swans are sitting in fourth on the VFL ladder after three consecutive wins, including a 59-point victory over the Footscray Bulldogs last Friday.
The Round 6 clash will take place from 12:15pm on Sunday, May 3 ahead of our Round 8 AFL match against the Melbourne Demons on the SCG. Watch the match for free on Tramway Oval.
All Smithy’s VFL and VFLW matches will be streamed live and free on AFL platforms via AFL.com.au and the AFL Live Official App.
