Sydney Swans defender Zak Jones will miss the next four to six weeks with an ankle injury.

Scans have revealed Jones has a high ankle sprain which he suffered in Thursday’s five-point loss to Hawthorn at the SCG.

The injury occurred in the fourth quarter when an opposition player fell on Jones’ ankle after he had disposed of the ball.

A full injury update with General Manager of Football Tom Harley will be provided on sydneyswans.com.au on Tuesday afternoon.
