The Sydney Swans have broken its all-time membership record, with 77,543 members officially joining the red and white army in 2026.

It follows the announcement in April that the club had exceeded 70,000 members in record time.

In the club’s 152nd season in the AFL/VFL the Swans blew past its previous club record of 77,126 members, achieved in 2025.

Sydney first exceeded the milestone of 50k members back in 2016, 60k in 2018 and 70k in 2024.

The new milestone is a fantastic show of faith from the tens of thousands of passionate Swans fans who have filled the stands throughout the season.

The feat comes off the back of consistent performances from the AFL team which sees them sitting in second position on the ladder, bumper crowds at the SCG and an AFLW team rearing to go in just a few weeks’ time.

Sydney Swans Chief Executive Officer, Matthew Pavlich, thanked the loyal members who have continued to support the club.

"Breaking our all-time membership record is a remarkable achievement, and we thank every member who has backed our club and our teams,” Pavlich said.

“The passion and support of our members have played a significant role in our undefeated record at the SCG this season. With a huge Friday night clash against the Adelaide Crows coming up, we need our members and fans to help make the SCG a fortress once again.

“It’s an incredibly exciting time to be part of the Sydney Swans family. With the AFL season entering the business end of the year and our AFLW campaign kicking off in just over a month, there’s so much for our members and supporters to look forward to.”

It’s not too late to jump on board and secure a membership for the remainder of the 2026 AFL season and for the upcoming AFLW season. Memberships available HERE.
