The Sydney Swans have signed Indiana Williams as an injury replacement player for the upcoming 2026 AFLW season.

A former Brisbane Lions-listed defender, Williams joins the Swans from Morningside in the QAFLW, where she has been a consistent and versatile performer.

Standing at 176cm, the 22-year-old is an athletic and competitive tall, with a strong aerial presence.

Sydney Swans Executive General Manager - AFLW Football, Kate Mahony welcomed Williams to the red and white.

“We’re really pleased to give Indi another opportunity at AFLW level and welcome her into our program,” Mahony said.

“Indi’s versatility is a real strength - she can play at both ends of the ground and pinch-hit in the ruck if we need her to.

“With her previous experience in an AFLW program, we believe Indi can make an immediate impact.”

Williams’ signing follows Aly Neyland’s move to the inactive list, after she sustained an ACL injury earlier this month.
