The Sydney Swans have locked in two of their most exciting young forwards, with Holly Cooper and Amelia Martin signing on with the red and white.
Both QBE Sydney Swans Academy graduates, Cooper, 21, has penned an extension until at least the end of 2029, while Martin,19, will remain in the Harbour City until at least the end of 2030.
A Newcastle local, Cooper has played 20 games and kicked 11 goals, continuing to develop as a dangerous small forward who brings speed, pressure and scoreboard impact to Sydney’s lineup.
Martin, who hails from Wollongong, arrived at the club through the 2024 AFLW Draft, and went on to feature in six games in her debut season last year.
Sydney Swans Executive General Manager - AFLW Football, Kate Mahony, said the club was thrilled to secure both players long-term.
“Holly and Amelia are outstanding young people and talented footballers who have already shown they can have an impact at AFLW level,” Mahony said.
“Both players are products of our QBE Sydney Swans Academy, which makes their commitment even more special.
“We’re excited to see them continue to grow in our AFLW program and play an important role in the future of our team.”
