Sheldrick named in 22under22 squad
Midfielder Angus Sheldrick is the lone red and white player named in this year’s squad, earning his first selection.
Sheldrick has found consistency in 2026, playing in 17 games this season, with an average of 20.3 disposals, 11 handballs, 3.8 tackles and 2.9 clearances per game.

Academy talents sign on
We have locked in two of our most exciting young forwards for the foreseeable!
Holly Cooper has penned an extension until at least the end of 2029 and Martin will remain in the Harbour City until at least the end of 2030.
Holly joined our Academy through talent ID in 2023. While Amelia joined the Academy during U12’s in 2017.

The QBE Sydney Swans Academy will be holding trials for youth athletes this August and September at Tramway Oval for athletes residing in the Sydney Swans Academy Zone.
Youth Boys born between 2016-2013 and Youth Girls born between 2015-2013 are invited to register using the booking link below to secure a place in the upcoming trials.
