The Sydney Swans had a thrilling eight-point victory over the Adeliade Crows to start their 2026 campaign on the weekend.

Ruck Ally Morphett starred in the contest, earning the full 10 votes from the coaches following her 19 hit outs, nineteen disposals, 14 contested possessions, eight intercepts and four clearances.

While Morphett claimed the full 10-votes, red and white teammates Sofia Hurley, Zippy Fish, Chloe Molloy and Cynthia Hamilton also earned votes.

Hurley was busy with 20 disposals, 10 tackles, Fish finished with a game high 23 disposals, seven tackles and 428m gained while Molloy had plenty of impact in the Swans fightback with 20 disposals and a goal – the trio earning four votes each.

Cynthia Hamilton finished with three votes following a two goal, 17 disposal performance and a desperate game-defining tackle late in the fourth quarter.
