Sydney Swans AFLW midfielder Montana Ham has claimed 10 votes from the coaches following the side’s Round 3 victory over Euro-Yroke (St Kilda) at Coffs Harbour on Saturday afternoon.

Ham was one of five red and white players to earn votes from the coaches following the side’s tough 23-point victory at C.ex Coffs International Stadium.

Ham was crucial in the side’s hard fought victory, with a game high 27 disposals, six tackles and a goal.

The young midfielder broke open the game at the end of the third quarter, when it looked like going by without a goal being scored at either end of the ground, and with only two on the board for the match to that stage. However Ham set sail to a long bomb that flew through for a major, following some sharp work by teammate Zippy Fish.

Fish earned eight votes, with her electric pace and sharp skills on show as she finished with 25 disposals, three tackles and a game high 469 metres gained.

Morphett was strong, earning five votes with 20 hit outs, 10 disposals, while midfielder Sofia Hurley was consistent with 21 disposals, two clearances and three tackles.

Midfield Laura Gardiner rounded out the Swans votes with one coaches vote with 23 disposals, a game high eight tackles and a goal.
