North Melbourne v Sydney Swans

Round 8 •

Arden Street Oval, Melbourne • VIC

Ally Morphett will be aiming to continue her good run of form after the ruck claimed another 10 votes from the coaches last weekend in Sydney’s 14-point victory over the Brisbane Lions. Morphett was instrumental with 27 hitouts, 20 disposals and five tackles, guiding the side to victory at Henson Park.

Meanwhile, Cynthia Hamilton will mark game number 50 this Sunday in what is an important milestone for the 22-year-old and the wider AFLW program. Hamilton will become the first player to reach the career milestone, having played all 50 in the red and white.

The Swans and Kangaroos have both excelled thus far in the 2026 season with six wins and one loss to their record. The red and white will be aspiring for a first-ever win against the Kangaroos on Sunday.
