The Sydney Swans have named an extended bench ahead of its Round 9 Pride Round clash with Carlton on Sunday.

After a 6-2 start to the season, the Swans enter a pivotal final month, with their last four matches including Sunday's Henson Park clash set to play a significant role in shaping their finals aspirations.

Senior coach Colin O'Riordan has been forced to make at least one change, with ruck Ally Morphett ruled out for the season after sustaining an ACL injury against North Melbourne last week.
