Gary Rohan will return to the Sydney Swans side to face Adelaide in Friday night’s blockbuster at the SCG.

Rohan is one of two changes to the side that defeated the Western Bulldogs with defender Harry Marsh also coming into the team.

The agile forward missed last week’s win over the Bulldogs to be by the side of his wife Amie as she gave birth to twin girls.

Nic Newman and Aliir Aliir have both been omitted.

Coach John Longmire said Rohan was a welcome inclusion to the side.

“The whole football community really supported Gary and Amie last week which was fantastic,” Longmire said.

“He has trained all this week and he is really looking forward to getting out there and playing so it is good to have him back in the team."

Longmire said Marsh had forced his way into the side through consistent performances over the last couple of months.

“He has been playing well for a number of weeks, he played some pre-season games in our seniors and played well there.”

“He needs to be rewarded for that form in our reserves over the last few weeks so it is good to have him back in the team.”
