Sydney Swans supporters will have the chance to farewell champions Ted Richards and Ben McGlynn during Friday night’s blockbuster against Collingwood at the SCG.

Richards and McGlynn will complete a lap of honour during the main break after both announced their retirement at the end of last season.

After announcing his retirement mid-way through the season Richards played the last of his 261 matches against Hawthorn in Round 17.

The premiership defender played 228 games at the Swans developing himself into one of the most consistent defenders in the competition.

McGlynn represented the red and white 127 times across his 171-game career with his final match being the 2017 Grand Final against the Western Bulldogs.

Make sure you get to the ground this Friday night to show your appreciation for the pair during the half time break of the Swans blockbuster match against the Magpies.
