Sydney head to Etihad Stadium on Saturday night confident they can counter an in form North Melbourne side riding high off their latest win over West Coast.

It will be the first time the Swans have travelled to Etihad Stadium this season and will be one of only two meetings at the venue throughout 2015.

Looking to win their sixth straight game heading into the bye, the Swans will be looking for a more consistent four quarter effort then in recent weeks against Gold Coast and Carlton.

Co-captain Jarrad McVeigh is confident his side will come out firing against the Kangaroos.

“When they play well they are a very hard team to beat,” McVeigh said.

“They were a top four side last year, their form has been a bit up and down but last weekend against West Coast they played really well.

“West Coast was flying at that point and North came through with a really good win.

“They always play well at Etihad and it is our first trip there this year so we look forward to getting down there on a fast track and trying to get the win going into the bye.”

There will be plenty of scintillating match ups across the field with the North Melbourne midfield boasting names such as Jack Ziebell, David Swallow and Brent Harvey to come up against McVeigh, Jack, Kennedy, Hannebery and Parker.

Both sides head into Saturday night’s game unchanged from their previous round with both coaches showing faith in their players.
