A former rookie-listed player at the Sydney Swans, Lloyd Perris returned to the SCG ahead of season 2019 to work with Jeremy Laidler as a development coach.
Perris was an inaugural QBE Sydney Swans Academy graduate and signed with the red and white as a rookie ahead of season 2013.
But after a luckless run with injury, he hung up the boots and worked in coaching capacities with AFL NSW/ACT and Sydney University’s NEAFL side.
Matt Ling, Joel Amartey, Jack Maibaum and a host of other youngsters will be pushing for senior footy in 2020, and Perris – alongside Laidler – will be at the helm to guide them.
