Rohan, 19, has overcome an ankle injury which kept him out of action for several weeks. Two weeks ago he kicked six goals for the Swans Reserves, and will add his trademark speed and hardness to the team.
Smith, 22, is growing in reputation as an exceptional run-with player. He has kept a number of talented opponents quiet this season, including Geelong’s Steve Johnson and Hawthorn’s Luke Hodge.
Smith has been missing since round 16, when he injured his hamstring early in the match against Carlton at Etihad Stadium.
Ben McGlynn, who is recovering from surgery to repair a fractured cheekbone, will miss the match and is expected to be out of action for two to three weeks, according to Swans medical staff.
McGlynn is still in Perth and it is hoped he will fly home to Sydney tomorrow.
On McGlynn, Sydney Swans coach Paul Roos said he had spoken to the courageous midfielder earlier this week, and while he was still a bit sore, he was coming along well.
"The medical staff believe Ben could be back to play in the first week of the finals,'' Roos said.
Clever forward Jarred Moore, who was concussed in the third quarter of the gutsy win against Fremantle last Saturday, will also be missing this week.
Roos, who this weekend will coach for the final time at the SCG, said the club was taking a conservative approach with Moore.
Roos acknowledged that Saturday night would be a special occasion for himself and Brett Kirk, but with a finals series approaching he said there was no danger of the Swans losing focus.
“It gives us a real chance to see where we’re at, because we’ve struggled against the top four sides. That’s where the excitement lies for me,” he said.
