Here's some of the questions that were asked...

How does it feel to play against your brother? And what is the best thing about playing with Brett Kirk and being coached by Paul Roos?
From Alexei
P.S. Good luck in the finals - GO SWANS!!!
Da Rookstar - 3:07 PM Monday, August 23, 2010
Nice mark & goal at a crucial time Jarrad. Well done - big game player.
Shirley - 2:52 PM Monday, August 23, 2010
Hi Jarrad,
You guys did us (fans) proud on Saturday against the Dogs. Hope that Mummy is OK and that his injury is not too serious.
Will Moore and Ryan be fit to play the Lions on Saturday? Is there a possibility that Bradshaw or any of the other injured players will be back for the finals?
Best wishes to all the boys as you prepare for the finals!!
GO THE SWANNIES!
Derek Fonnie - 2:41 PM Monday, August 23, 2010
The Swans have played a number of very tough physical games over the last 3-4 weeks (aren't they all?). How do you come up every week and play with the same intensity and hardness on the ball? Surely there is a fair bit soreness around?
Bloods forever!
Heather Quinlan - 2:40 PM Monday, August 23, 2010
Another excellent performance from the Swans on the weekend Jarrad - what is the feeling like among the team with a few wins under the belt going into the point end of the season?
Kate Bevan - 2:25 PM Monday, August 23, 2010
Sydney has done really well the last few weeks. How far do you think you can go? I am a huge Sydney Swans fan; hopefully the swans can go all the way.
Margaret Ward - 2:01 PM Monday, August 23, 2010
Dear Jarrad,
Great wins in the last two matches and exciting to watch. Against Fremantle, your handball out in front of the goal while sitting on the ground, which set up the crucial goal in the last quarter, was brilliant. What was going through your mind - or was it just an automatic reflex action?
Mitchell O' Donnell-Daniel - 2:00 PM Monday, August 23, 2010
Hey Jarrad, my name's Mitchell and I am a 15 year old boy that plays in the midfield. I was just wondering if you had any tips on how to get fitter over the off season?
Cheers, Mitch

Hi Jarrad,
Can you update me re: Ryan O'Keefe and why he was a late withdrawal on the weekend? Will he play this week as I need him for my Dream Team Grand Final? Thanks heaps.
Willy's Warriors!
Jimmy - 1:51 PM Monday, August 23, 2010
Hey Jarrad, I would like to know who would win a race between Lewis Jetta and Gary Rohan?
Paul Roos - 1:42 PM Monday, August 23, 2010
How good a coach is Paul Roos? You must consider yourself extremely fortunate to have been coached by him.
Bill - 1:39 PM Monday, August 23, 2010
Hi Jarrad, Can you recall the Swans enjoying a more consistent "Rising Star" effort than Dan Hannebery's?
Brenton Plugger Hinks - 1:35 PM Monday, August 23, 2010
Hi Jarrad,
Mate for a season that everyone doubted us, where they commented we were done and dusted and we were a bottom 4 team with no young talent coming through. What are your thoughts on the Swans’ determination and the great development of our young players coming through? All are going to be playing a big part in finals footy with a large chance to make a decent boot of the finals campaign. It’s been a great year in terms of development and from all the Swans fans thank you for the team’s persistence even through injuries.
Claire - 1:19 PM Monday, August 23, 2010
What is a week in the life of Jarrad McVeigh like?
Adam.M - 1:14 PM Monday, August 23, 2010
What’s with the beard??
Rafeek - 1:05 PM Monday, August 23, 2010
What is your favourite Kirky memory?
Stuart Hunter - 1:01 PM Monday, August 23, 2010
Hey Jarrad,
There are a handful of you in the squad who played junior footy in Sydney. You must really enjoy being able to put back into the community through your work with the Swans. Is there any banter at the club when your respective teams play each other in the SFL?
Sue B - 12:37 PM Monday, August 23, 2010
Great way to farewell our wonderful leaders Kirky & Roosy on Saturday night with a fantastic win over the Bulldogs. Given the emotion of the night, what will the team do to prepare for the clash with the Lions next week? The loss of Shane Mumford is a huge one also. How will his absence be covered and who by?
Tobias Groos - 12:37 PM Monday, August 23, 2010
Hi Jarrad,
What a game against the Bulldogs! Great effort by the team and a great way finish the career for Kirk and Roos at the SCG.
My question:
There is a good chance that we are getting a home final this year and my understanding is that this would be played at ANZ Stadium. From a player perspective what is the big difference between the two grounds and how does it impact the game? What is your feeling about playing at ANZ Stadium, especially under the circumstances that this season was not a successful at ANZ?
Go the red and white!
Emily - 12:29 PM Monday, August 23, 2010
Is there something that you and the boys do religiously before a game? If so, what?
All the very best for the finals!!
Brett Maloney - 12:27 PM Monday, August 23, 2010
Brilliant game on Saturday! This team always amazes and keeps defying the critics - keep going!
How is Bradshaw's injury going?
From a fan’s point of view it looks like you guys can really take it to the Saints and now the Dogs but are you working on a change in game plan to overcome the Pies and Cats should you meet them? I know it's all hypothetical but I’m sure every fan is confident you guys can push through to the 2nd week.
John B - 12:20 PM Monday, August 23, 2010
Hi Jarrad,
Enjoy the way you play - the commitment and dedication you show week in and week out. How do you prepare mentally for the game against Brisbane knowing it may be of little or no consequence to the finals?
Shaun - 12:11 PM Monday, August 23, 2010
Hi Jarrad,
After heavy losses to the Dees and Cats, what do you think has been the major turning point in form to see us beat quality opposition Hawks, Freo and Dogs in recent weeks?
Mark Rafidi - 12:06 PM Monday, August 23, 2010
Hi Jarrad,
Have you ever lined up against your brother Mark? What football lessons has he taught you?
Russell Borealis-Masonridge III - 11:36 AM Monday, August 23, 2010
Hi Jarrad,
Kirky has been inspirational to me as a Swans fan and a fan of football in general. He has a special place in my heart in the same way Paul Kelly did a decade earlier and Saturday night was truly amazing for all Swans fans.
As a youngster, did anyone in particular inspire you and do you remember any special or powerful moments in their history that really stuck with you?
Vivienne Tran - 11:32 AM Monday, August 23, 2010
Hey Jarrad,
You're my favourite player; always putting in a consistent effort every week. Do you and the boys really think we can go all the way and win it this year? Jude's goal on Saturday might be a sign things are going our way.
Looking good for September. Keep it up. GO SWANNIES!
Wade - 11:16 AM Monday, August 23, 2010
Hi Jarrad,
Well done on a great win against the Dogs, team effort! Do you think Dan Curry will be a chance to play this week if Mummy is out?
Nathan Burrows - 11:13 AM Monday, August 23, 2010
Hi Jarrad,
Nice game against the Doggies!! Can you tell us how the injuries to Bradshaw, LRT, Benny McGlynn and Craig Bolton are coming along?? Are any of them a chance to play again in the coming weeks?? Go Bloods!!
Gerry Brown - 11:10 AM Monday, August 23, 2010
G'day Jarrad, great game on the weekend, I'm proud of the way the boys are standing up at the end of the season. If we beat Brisbane this weekend will that give us a home final - who will it be against?
One more question, will you be putting your hand up for the captaincy next year?
Cheers mate and all the best for the finals.
Jezza Brown
