Bio

After 88 games in six years with St Kilda, Barry Hall joined the Swans for the 2002 season. Barry developed into one of the strongest one on one players in the competition and was also one of the quickest for his size. Opposition defenders strong enough to hold him were unable to match him for pace, while those fast enough to go with him were easily thrown aside. Not only was he a superb mark and an equally reliable shot at goal, he also led the Club in forward pressures, working tirelessly to lock the ball in our forward area. Captain of the 2005 Premiership team, and Co-Captain of the Club in 2006 and 2007, Barry was named Club Champion in 2004, was three times All Australian, and the Club’s leading goalkicker for seven consecutive seasons, from 2002 to 2008  – a feat which has been achieved only twice in the Club’s history, and which sees him third on our list of all time goalkickers.
