Bio 

From Williamstown, Len Mortimer played the first of his 153 games for South Melbourne in 1906. In that year, he topped the Club’s goalkicking with 24, and would go on to be South’s leading goalkicker for the next six seasons in his overall career tally of 289 goals. Playing at full-forward he kicked a goal in South Melbourne’s narrow Grand Final victory over Carlton in 1909.
