Sydney Swans vs Hawthorn

Friday June 11, 7.50pm

OUT: Chad Warner (ankle)

IN: James Bell

The Sydney Swans have made one change to their team to face Hawthorn in Friday night footy at the SCG.

Chad Warner (ankle) comes out of the side and will be replaced by James Bell.

"Chad has got a sore spot in his leg and needs a bit of time off," coach John Longmire said.

"We need to give him a couple of weeks where he downloads a bit."

21-year old Bell, comes into the side for his 15th senior game in the red and white.

"Belly is a fantastic high-speed runner, his ability to run hard both ways is a real asset and we are looking forward bringing his strengths tomorrow," Longmire said.

The Swans opponent, Hawthorn will come to Sydney fresh from a bye and Longmire expects a tough contest against.

"They have had the weekend off so we expect them to come out like they normally do," Longmire said.

"Traditionally over the years games between Hawthorn and Sydney have been a really tough, tight contest right until the very end.

"We have been in a few of those this year and we expect another really tough game tomorrow at the SCG in front of what we hope is a big crowd.

"We just have to go about what we normally do, we have four quarters of footy to play and that is our focus at the moment. It starts at the first bounce."

First bounce is 7.50pm at the SCG tomorrow night and the game is live on Channel 7, Fox Sports and Kayo.
