20-year-old ruckman Will Green was recruited to the Sydney Swans with pick 16 in the first round of the 2023 AFL Draft. Towering at 204cm tall, Green enjoyed a strong top-age season playing in 14 Coates Talent League matches and the Under 17 Futures showcase on AFL Grand Final day ahead of his recruitment. The young athlete was also selected as the starting ruck in the 2023 Team of the Year having also been named in the All-Australian side. He continues to develop his craft alongside experienced star Brodie Grundy and coach Dean Cox.
