Standing at 202cm tall, Tom Hickey is a formidable force and dangerous interceptor in the Sydney Swans side. The ruckman joined the club in 2021 after a two-year tenure at the West Coast Eagles and has quickly become one of the most recognisable faces in the top 22. A medial strain sidelined Hickey from six weeks of play in 2022 before returning in Round 9 for a winning display against Essendon. The 31-year-old managed a season average of 14.7 disposal and 7.5 kicks from 16 games last season. Hickey was welcomed into the Gold Coast Suns following local talent access selection in 2010 and made his debut the following year in Round 22. The towering athlete was traded in the 2012 AFL Draft to St Kilda where he played six seasons.
