The Sydney Swans VFL side to face the Coburg Lions on Saturday afternoon in Round 9 has been named.

After a bye last week, Sydney Swans VFL Head Coach Jeremy Laidler has named a strong side that features plenty of experienced Swans senior players for the match.

Young guns Hayden McLean, Dylan Stephens, Braeden Campbell and Joel Amartey will feature in the side along with Ryan Clarke, Matty Roberts and Callum Sinclair who have been consistent in their campaigns this year.

In a boost for the side, skipper Adam Gulden returns for his second game of the season after injuring his collarbone in Round 1 against the Bulldogs.

The Swans VFL side have a 3-3 record in season 2022, including a 70-point victory over Werribee a fortnight ago and sit a game outside the top eight with a handful of other sides. Their opponents this week, Coburg, have recorded one victory from the opening six rounds.

The match kicks off from Piranha Park in Coburg from 1:05pm on Saturday afternoon. If you aren't in Melbourne, you can watch via the live stream on the AFL website and AFL Live Official App.
