Coming to the footy on Friday? Then bring the kids to watch us take on the Western Bulldogs at the SCG as they'll receive free entry with the purchase of an adult ticket*.
Arrive early to catch stilt walkers, jugglers, a hair braider, face painters, and street performers on Driver Avenue ahead of the game.
The AFL's Kids Go Free month, which provided all kids under the age of 15 free tickets to any match, has seen more than 105,000 junior attendees flock to AFL games around the country.
Over the past three weeks (Rounds 14 – 16), the free ticketing initiative has given families a chance to enjoy live football with special entertainment and offers to help boost the experience.
Round 17 is the last weekend of the promotion, and the Swans are at home at the SCG.
The AFL's Executive General Manager Customer and Commercial, Kylie Rogers, said the Kids Go Free promotion was the perfect way to encourage kids and families back to the footy over the school holidays.
“We are thrilled to see over 100,000 junior attendees at the footy in the last three weeks, which brings the attendance numbers up well past pre-Covid times. Kids love the footy, and we’re so pleased to see them back at the game in force the last few weeks.
"Over 4 million fans have attended a game so far this season, and we are looking forward to the momentum of the last few weeks propelling us into the final part of the home-and-away season, ahead of an exciting finals series,” Rogers said.
