Episode 1: The Recruit
In the first episode, John returns home to his farm in Balldale during the 2022 pre-season. He takes us through life on the farm, how he developed his love for footy, and the extraordinary sacrifice he made as a teenager to leave home and pursue a career in the AFL.
Episode 2: Coaching during the pandemic
There was no challenge greater than what the COVID-19 pandemic presented in 2020 and 2021.
From the moment the competition was suspended, to life on the road for extended periods within two seasons, Longmire explains how the players and staff persevered through one of the most extraordinary periods of our lifetime.
Episode 3: Young player development
As a club that prides itself on young player development through the QBE Sydney Swans Academy, Longmire talks through his approach to identifying talent and how he fosters those who have what it takes to be a professional athlete.

A stellar playing career came to a fairytale end in his 200th game as he won a premiership with North Melbourne in 1999. From then, he transitioned seamlessly into a coaching role at the Sydney Swans before being promoted to head coach at the end of 2010.
