Q: I am a Sydney based member. Can I still use my barcode to purchase a ticket for the week 1 Elimination Final at the MCG?
A: Yes. All eligible Sydney Swans members (regardless of where they live) have the opportunity to purchase a ticket to this final - subject to capacity. Eligible members received an email on Monday, August 28.
Q: My barcode isn't working for the member pre-sale.
A: Try removing any letters at the front of the barcode (i.e. Ad) and any commas or spaces at the front/end of barcode numbers when adding these into Ticketek. Each barcode must be entered on a separate line in the box proved as per the below example:

Q: The members pre-sale has only just started, and you're sold out in many categories - is this right?
A: It's likely that many members are trying to access the pre-sale using multiple devices and have multiple seats 'on dibs' deciding what they want. We recommend you clear your cache and try again.
Q: Can I buy extra tickets for friends and family in the member pre-sale?
A: Member barcodes will only allow the purchase of 1 ticket per barcode – up to a maximum of 10 tickets per transaction (meaning you would need 10 member barcodes to this transaction).
Further to this, if the member would like to share their barcodes with friends or family to purchase tickets because they cannot make the final, this is fine.
Q: I am a Redback member. Why am I not able to purchase multiple tickets via the Club in the Category 1 seats you're offering?
A: Unfortunately, we don't receive enough tickets to be able to fulfil multiple tickets per Redback member into this area. We are happy to place an order for multiple tickets with multiple barcodes into this Category 1 seating area if you're booking on behalf of other Redbacks.
Otherwise, you're welcome to use your barcode in the member pre-sale if you'd like to purchase additional seats for family and friends.
Q: I am a Cheer Squad member. Why am I not able to purchase multiple tickets via the Club into the Cheer Squad bay?
A: We have limited seats in the Cheer Squad bay which means we can only offer one ticket per membership.
If you'd like to purchase additional tickets for family and friends, you're welcome to purchase these in the member pre-sale however, please be aware for Week 1 finals you will require one (1) barcode for each ticket you would like to purchase.
Q: Can I share my member barcode with others once I've bought a ticket so they can access the member pre-sale?
A: Unfortunately not. Once you have 'unlocked' the member pre-sale and purchased a ticket/s against your barcode, it cannot be used again for that game.
Q: As a member, do I receive a discount on finals tickets?
A: Unfortunately, not. As the finals are operated by the AFL, no members of competing clubs receive a discount on finals tickets.
Q: I am an AFL member with Swans Club Support - how can I buy a ticket to a Swans Final?
A: You have access to the AFL Members on-sale. Please contact AFL Membership regarding these details.
Q: I am a Premiership Club member. Do I receive priority access to Weeks 1-3 finals tickets.
A: Premiership Club members gain access tickets to the Elimination Final via the Member pre-sale using your membership barcodes.
Q: Can my unused guest passes from this season be used to redeem tickets to a Swans final?
A: No. Guest passes could only be used at Sydney Swans home games during the 2023 Home and Away Season.
