Sydney Swans AFLW coach Scott Gowans has confirmed his side to face Collingwood this Sunday at Henson Park with just one change.

Paige Sheppard has been ruled out due to concussion and will be replaced by Aimee Whelan.

"It's a like for like with Paige going out. Aimee brings a bit more experience, being a bit older and is a bigger body," Gowans said.

"She has been unlucky really because we have had a winning team, which is nice to say.

"Aimee will come in and i'm sure she will take her opportunity."

The Swans are brimming with confidence following their 57-point victory over the Western Bulldogs, which saw the side produce a relentless four-quarter performance en route to their biggest win in club history.

Gowans insists the Swans will need to produce the same effort from the opening bounce against a Magpies outfit who have won their past four consecutive games.

"Everything starts off your pressure and your work rate and your intensity. If you bring that, the game plan opens up", Gowans said.

"If you don’t bring that, then we fall into our shells.

"We are on a journey of continual improvement, so it is really important to improve on what we need to improve on from last week.

"What we did very well last week, we will bring that into the game against Collingwood.”

Round 9 will also see the Swans celebrate their annual Pride Game - the first time the AFLW team has hosted the fixture since they arrived in the competition last year.

Gowans lauded the celebration of inclusion and diversity, and hopes the red and white faithful can show their support on Sunday afternoon.

"It’s really important to us (celebrating Pride)," Gowans said.

"We just want to send the message that everyone is welcome at the footy.

""Equality is so important to us as a fabric of this club, and we’ve been doing it since 2015. We are very happy and proud to take that onus on now and get a chance to do it twice, this week, and then next week in Fremantle.

"We want to fill Henson Park - ticket sales are going really well, which is great.”
