Swans forward Braeden Campbell spoke to the media on Thursday as the team prepares to face Narrm at the MCG on Sunday afternoon.
On the side's second half against the Blues
"I reckon the whole, probably the second half of the game was massive for us, we went wrong in a few areas in the first half and Coxy at pretty much half-time just told us the areas where we went wrong and we did well to rectify that in the second half and it was a really team-based performance I thought in the second half."
On Chad and Isaac's performances
"Isaac and Chad are obviously very good players and they're playing really well at the moment but it's probably the team, I'm not taking anything away from them, they're really good players but the team are allowing them to do what they're doing. A few boys playing selfless roles and, as I said before, it just allows them to do what they do best and at the moment they're playing their best footy."
On Callum Mills
"He's doing well, he's got a training session today, if he gets through that I think it would be a big chance to play. Obviously the coaches need to pick him still but yeah, he's tracking really well and all the work that he's done this period when he's been off injured, he's really set himself up well to come back."
On Callum's rehab
"It's hard but it's also inspiring at the same time, the way he goes about it off the field is probably what you see on the field, a really tough person, tough player and he's just attacked this period where he's injured to the best that he can and he's set himself up really well."
On Callum's leadership
"Probably how involved he is in the club is what makes him such a good leader and captain of his club. He's always sitting in meetings with Coxsy and with all the leaders and with all the younger boys. He really wants to make them thrive, he gives them so much input and improvement points and he's just always team first, i's never about him. He's just a really good person around the club and probably why we voted him captain."
On players returning from injury
"It's obviously exciting having so many boys so close to returning and maybe a few this week. But probably more so for me, it highlights the depth that we have in the team, all the young boys and the chance that they got to play at senior level. I like to say that they held their own, to me, it is exciting to have them back but it also highlights the depth that we have here."
On playing at the MCG for the first time this season
"It's obviously a massive stadium, it's just an enormous atmosphere every time we play down there. I enjoy playing down there and so do all the boys, it's something we don't get to do very often. It's the first time this season, but everyone's excited to play down there in what will be a big ground. At the end of the day, it's just a game of AFL, we get loud games everywhere you go. The SCG last week was probably as loud as I've ever heard it, there's not too much different about it, it's a bigger ground, but at the end of the day, it's just a game of footy."
On Brodie Grundy going up against Max Gawn
"It's exciting, they're obviously two great players, ex-teammates as well. I'm sure both of them are really looking forward to it, as am I, all the boys are really excited for what Brodie can do. We know what he's capable of, and I'm really excited to see it."
