This Saturday, at our Round 12 match against Adelaide, we're celebrating our 2005 AFL Premiership and the Sydney Swans Foundation's 20th anniversary.

The 2005 Premiership win didn't just mark a historic moment for Sydney, it sparked the beginning of a lifelong ambition. That same year, the Sydney Swans Foundation was born.

The Foundation was established to support the development of young football talent through the creation of the QBE Sydney Swans Academy.

Now, 20 years on, the Foundation continues to shape the next generation of red and white – proudly supporting the future stars of our game.

From Coffs Harbour to the Illawarra, the QBE Sydney Swans Academy gives young athletes the best chance to succeed, both on the field and in life.

Some of the Swans' biggest stars have come through the Academy ranks, including Isaac Heeney, Callum Mills, Errol Gulden, and Nick Blakey.

This week's Match Day Partner, the Foundation helps to uncover talent, create opportunity, and create confident young people.

In addition to their support of the Academy, the Foundation has driven major capital projects, including the state-of-the-art training facility and the Sydney Swans Museum. It has also championed innovation and competitive advantage, funding initiatives like an embedded PhD researcher within the AFLW program.

Swans members and fans can donate to the Sydney Swans Foundation to help back our next star before the world knows their name.
