An 11-goal final term from the Casey Demons has seen the Sydney Swans VFL side suffer a 94-point defeat on Saturday afternoon.

A fast-finishing Casey kicked 11 goals to Sydney's two behinds in the fourth quarter to run out 24.11 (155) to 9.7 (61) winners at Tramway Oval.

Despite the final scoreline, Sydney took the contest to Casey early and trailed by just 14 points at the first break and nine at the second.

The Swans' smalls were influential, with Jesse Dattoli, Tom Hanily and Jack Kluske finishing the game with three goals each.

Casey started fast, kicking the first goal of the match and dominating territory early.

Sydney struggled to generate inside 50 entries in the opening stages, with Dattoli eventually breaking through to get his first in the red and white.

Swans Skipper Nick Shipley kept the Swans in touch with the Demons, winning a holding-the-ball free kick in the middle of the ground to set up a set shot for Kluske's first.

Dattoli showed a glimpse of his potential, slotting a classy major on the siren to narrow the margin to 14-points heading into the first change.

Tom Hanily opened the scoring in the second, before slotting another two later in the term to keep the Swans within striking distance.

Experienced duo Ollie Florent (15 disposals) and Harry Cunningham (14 disposals) continued to bring plenty of energy at the contest, trimming Casey's margin to nine points at the main break.

Two third-quarter goals to Kluske weren't enough for the Swans, as the Demons began to assert their dominance, winning the clearance battle and showing their class.

Casey kicked the last three goals of the quarter to extend their lead to a game-high margin of 28 points heading into the final change.

It was all Casey in the final quarter, the away team kicking 11 unanswered goals to record a 94-point win.

Shipley was busy for the Swans, the midfielder back in the line-up after missing the past two weeks through injury, recording 19 disposals and 10 tackles.

AFL-listed Florent finished with 22 disposals and seven tackles, while Cunningham notched 15 disposals as he made his return from injury on restricted minutes.

Sydney will take on Richmond at Park Holme Recreation Reserve next Saturday morning before having the opportunity to reset with a bye in Round 13.
