Callum Mills: "I think having him in the system beforehand and having an existing relationship really helped, but I'm just trying to support him the best I can and be there for whatever he needs."

Sydney Swans Captain Callum Mills addressed the media on Tuesday (June 17), ahead of his side's clash with Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Saturday.

When asked about senior coach Dean Cox, Mills said he was enjoying having the first-year coach at the helm.

"Oh, it's been great, it's been unbelievable, I think having him in the system beforehand and having an existing relationship really helped, but I'm just trying to support him the best I can and be there for whatever he needs," Mills said.

"Obviously, as a first year coach, there can be a few things going on, but my job is to support him and to get the players cracking in as much as possible."

Four ins for Port Adelaide clash
