The Sydney Swans VFL side will travel to Blacktown International Sports Park on Saturday afternoon for a clash with the Northern Bullants. The Round 15 match comes after a close 14 point loss to Footscray last Friday afternoon, just falling short to the second placed side after a late fightback.

Among the changes are VFL listed athletes Willem Smit and Cooper MacDonald, while the team will be injected with AFL experience in Ben Paton, Caiden Cleary and Oliver Florent, who served as the sub in last week's senior game against the Western Bulldogs. Cleary returns to the team after being a late withdrawal with illness last week.

The side will be without Caleb Mitchell and Riley Bice who have suffered injury late in the week, a toe and calf respectively. Meanwhile, Joel Hamling has been elevated to the AFL after a strong performance in the VFL in recent weeks.

The Swans will be looking for their third win this season after a confidence-boosting win against the Southport Sharks in Round 13. The Bullants are yet to register a win this season.

The VFL will kick off on Saturday, July 5 from 1:05pm.
