Sydney Swans ruck Brodie Grundy has continued his impressive form on the weekend, polling the maximum votes for his best on-ground performance against Fremantle on Sunday.

The Swans held on to defeat the Dockers by 11 points at the SCG on Sunday afternoon.

The 31-year-old set the tone whether he took on Fremantle's Luke Jackson or Sean Darcy, with the Swans winning the first nine centre clearances of the game and finishing ahead 41-32 in the overall clearance count.

Grundy had 20 disposals and a game-high 12 clearances as well as 33 hitouts as he arguably won the ruck battle on the day.
