We have named our squad to face the GWS Giants in a match simulation tomorrow (Friday, July 25) at Tom Willis Oval.
The side will feature a handful of new additions, including Darcy Maloney, Jas Grierson, Lulu Pullar, Ash Van Loon, Amelia Martin, Sarah Steele-Park and Zippy Fish, as the side plays it’s first trial game ahead of the upcoming 2025 AFLW season.
The AFLW match simulation will get underway at 1pm, and it will be the first of three games in-store for Swans fans. The VFL derby kicks off at 3.35pm across the road at Engie Stadium, followed by the AFL match at 7.50pm.

The AFLW match simulation is open to the public and free to attend. You can tune into all the action via the AFLW Instagram and X social media accounts.
The Swans AFLW side will face Brisbane in an official practice match on Saturday, August 2 at 12.30pm at Brighton Homes Arena, with the game live streamed on sydneyswans.com.au
The matches will be the first chance for fans to get a glimpse of the team and its new recruits ahead of Round 1 against Richmond on Friday, August 15 at North Sydney Oval.
