The NAB AFLW Finals series is set to come to light this weekend as teams continue to prepare for either their Qualifying or Elimination Finals on Saturday or Sunday.
Both Qualifying Finals will take place tomorrow, with the two winners advancing to a Preliminary Final in two weeks’ time and the losers to host next week’s Semi-Finals. The first match-up sees second-place Geelong host third-place Melbourne at GMHBA Stadium at 1:05 PM. Meanwhile, the reigning premiers North Melbourne will be hoping to continue their title defence when they host Carlton at 4:05 PM.
The Sydney Swans will get the Elimination Finals underway on Sunday at 1:05 PM. Hosting the club's first-ever home final, Sydney will be aiming to overcome the seventh-place Western Bulldogs, whom they climbed over on the ladder on the final day of the home-and-away season. Elsewhere, the Suns and the Hawks will battle it out for the remaining spot in the Semi-Finals, with ball up scheduled for 3:05 PM.
