The Sydney Swans have welcomed Malcolm Rosas Jnr to the club in a trade with the Gold Coast Suns.
The Swans receive Rosas Jr and selection 62 in the upcoming National Draft, and the Gold Coast receive pick 51 and selection 69. The trade was completed on day two of the 2025 Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period.
Rosas Jnr has played 49 games for the Gold Coast Suns, since being drafted with pick 37 in the 2019 rookie draft and will add some speed and excitement to the Sydney Swans front half.
Sydney Swans Executive General Manager, AFL Football, Leon Cameron, says Rosas Jnr will be a valuable addition.
“It’s great that Malcolm has selected our football club and we are excited to have completed the trade today with the Gold Coast,” Cameron Said.
“We believe Malcolm will complement our current forward line with his ability to run and carry and will provide a point of difference.”
