The Sydney Swans are saddened by the recent passing of former South Melbourne player Gerald Crough.
Aged 87, he passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025.
A tall winger from Ballarat, Crough wore the number 9 and played 56 games for South Melbourne during his tenure of 1956 – 1962. His teammates included Bob Skilton and Bob Pratt.
