A tough loss North on the weekend, what lessons did the team take out of the game?
North are the absolute benchmark as a team. They taught us lessons all over the ground in how hard they work for each other and spread. They set the standard of what it takes to play football consistently at a high level.
What has been the focus at training this week, to hopefully get the win this weekend?
Hard work! Getting back to our DNA and who we want to be as a team. We are looking to rediscover our early season form and that’s been trained this week.
We face Carlton at Henson Park on Sunday after two weeks away, what are you most looking forward to about being back at home?
We love playing at Henson Park in front of our Fans. It’s like having an extra player out there and we hope our fans turn up in droves to support us and we can do them proud this weekend.
Carlton have won their last two games and sit 4th on the ladder, what are you expecting from them?
Carlton have been really impressive this season. They play a similar brand of footy to us. Uncontested, a lot of run and flair. It should make for an entertaining game.
We are celebrating Pride Round over the next two weeks. How important is it to have a Pride game?
It is so important to have a pride game, to provide a space for people to be their authentic selves and to be celebrated for that. We are really looking forward to the opportunity to be part of the next two weeks and be positive role models in the community.
