A quintet of young Swans have been named in the 2025 AFL Players’ Association’s 22Under22 Squad.
Tall Ally Morphett, forwards Cynthia Hamilton and Holly Cooper, midfielder Montana Ham, and utility Zippy Fish have been named in the squad of 44 players.
Morphett will be eyeing her second 22Under22 selection following an impressive 2025 campaign, where she has averaged 17 disposals and 15 hitouts.
Hamilton has been a key cog in Sydney's forward line and has earned her second squad selection after another consistent season.
Holly Cooper has been selected in the squad for the first time, after booting 10 goals from 11 games so far this season.
After bursting onto the AFLW scene this year, Zippy Fish has been named following her impressive debut season. The 19-year-old has averaged 21 disposals a game this season and equalled the record for the most disposals in a debut AFLW game in Round 1.
The Swans have the second-highest number of players selected in the squad, with five selections, equal to West Coast, and behind Port Adelaide, which has six.
To be eligible for selection, players must be aged 22 years or under for the entirety of the season, including the finals series, and have played at least 50 per cent of the home and away season matches.
The final team is fan-voted, with voting open from 2pm Thursday, October 30 to 11:59pm, Thursday, November 6.
The final team of 22 will be announced at 11am on Wednesday, November 12.
