Opening the show

We’ll kick things off with back-to-back home games at the SCG, starting with the opening game of the season against Carlton on Thursday, March 5 at 7:30pm. It promises to be a big game as new recruit Charlie Curnow faces his former team.

The Opening Round match will be followed by a Round 1 Saturday night showdown against the Brisbane Lions, giving fans another chance to cheer cheer at the SCG.

Gather Round

After a bye we head to Adelaide for Gather Round where we will be the home team as we take on the Gold Coast Suns at Norwood Oval. We’re running our Gather Round Getaway once again and if you get in quick you can snap up one of the final places remaining.

Tickets to Gather Round will go on sale early next month. AFL and club members will have a priority on-sale window on Wednesday, December 3, with general-public on sale on Thursday, December 4.

The Derbies

Get your red and white ready as there’s always plenty of spice in the Sydney Derby, and we’re sure next year will be no different. We’re back to the SCG in Round 6 for a Friday night Sydney Derby against cross-town rivals GWS. We’ll play the Giants in the return Derby in Round 20 out at Homebush.

Marn Grook

One of the fixtures Swans fans eagerly await is Marn Grook at the SCG, and next year we will take on Collingwood for that special Friday night blockbuster. The annual celebration of First Nations peoples and culture promises to be a highlight of the season.

King’s Birthday Eve

Mark your calendars for a Sunday afternoon clash with St Kilda on King’s Birthday eve—a perfect way to enjoy the long weekend with family-friendly footy at its best.

Victoria and double encounters

For Victorian members, the fixture brings six big games, kicking off at the MCG against the Hawks in Round 2. In all, we have three matches at Marvel Stadium, two at the MCG, and one at GMHBA Stadium in Geelong.  Membership is your ticket to all six of those Swans games.

Teams we will face twice next season include Brisbane, GWS, St Kilda, the Western Bulldogs, Port Adelaide and North Melbourne.

Interstate trips

Beyond Victoria, the Swans will journey across the country with two visits to Western Australia, two trips to South Australia – including the festival of footy at Gather Round – and one trip to Queensland, giving fans right around the country the opportunity to see the Swans in action.

Prime-time action in the run home

The Swans will feature under lights on a Thursday or Friday night on four occasions during that period.

After a season of record crowds at the SCG so far, the remaining rounds are headlined by a Friday night home blockbuster against the Western Bulldogs in Round 17, with the match to become the club’s 2026 Pride Game. Since 2016, Sydney has been proud to host Pride Game at the SCG, celebrating inclusivity with the LGBTIQA+ community.

Few the Round 16 - Round 22 fixture announcement.
