The Sydney Swans AFLW team will kick off their 2026 pre-season with their AFLW Community Camp in Coffs Harbour.
Over three days from May 18 to 20, Swans players and staff will engage with local schools, junior football clubs and community groups in the region.
An open training session will be held on the Wednesday morning, where fans will have the opportunity to meet the players and get autographs and photos.
The team will hold their Community Camp in Coffs Harbour for the second consecutive year, after visiting the region last July.
Sydney Swans Executive General Manager – AFLW Football, Kate Mahony, said the Coffs Harbour community had embraced the team.
“Holding our community camp at the beginning of pre-season is a great opportunity for our group to connect and set the tone for the season ahead,” Mahony said.
“We’ve played a game in Coffs Harbour the past two years, and we will again this season, so it's fantastic to come to the region before the season kicks off.
“Participation in grassroots footy is key for the growth of the game in NSW, so we always look forward to heading to Coffs Harbour and engaging with the local community."
City of Coffs Harbour Mayor Nikki Williams welcomed the camp.
“Coffs Harbour is the perfect springboard to launch the Swans AFLW season given our relaxed lifestyle and great training facilities in a city where it’s easy to get around,” Williams said.
“The Swans passion for interacting with fans and school kids is particularly appreciated by the community and these relationships will help to grow the code, especially female football, on the Coffs Coast.”
