The final years of Sydney Swans legend Adam Goodes’ extraordinary career will be brought to life in a film to premiere at the Sydney Film Festival in June.

The Sydney Film Festival has announced THE FINAL QUARTER will headline the event being held between June 5-16 in Sydney.

Goodes, whose football resume reads: 372 games, 464 goals, two-time Brownlow Medallist, two-time premiership player, four-time All-Australian, three-time Bob Skilton Medallist, Sydney Swans Hall of Fame Legend, Indigenous Team of the Century member and Australian of the Year, was a champion player and an Indigenous leader.

In the final years of his career, the cheers turned to boos.
