Warner: "I think we just got back to everyone playing their role correctly, getting the right spots, our structure was a lot better"
Midfielder Chad Warner spoke to the media on Wednesday ahead of Sydney’s Round 13 clash with St Kilda at the SCG on Sunday.
When asked about the main takeaways from the win over the Tigers on the weekend, he said the ability for the team to play their own roles contributed to the win.
"I think we just got back to everyone playing their role correctly, getting the right spots, our structure was a lot better," Warner said.
"That's probably what was lacking probably the last month, was our defence and the way we helped each other out.
So I think that was really positive. I think when I talk about the roles and structures, that's something you can do against any team."
