As we countdown to our fifth season, there are more reasons than ever to get behind the red and white, from record-breaking crowds, unmissable vibes and match-day energy, to a blockbuster SCG double-header and an exciting new red and white line up.
Here are five reasons to become a member and be part of the 2026 season.
A must-see double-header at the SCG
The Swans return to the club’s spiritual home at the SCG in season 2026, hosting Essendon in the club’s first home game of the season.
The Round 2 clash against the Bombers will be an SCG double-header for the red and white army, with the men’s team to take on North Melbourne on the same day.
In what is expected to be a great day for all red and white members and fans, don’t miss the opportunity to see Sydney’s women’s team return to the SCG for a home-and-away match for the first time since 2022 while the AFL side will host their final game of the regular season before hopefully commencing their September campaign.
Unmissable vibes at Henson Park
Think sunshine, music, great food and drink, entertaining football and unmissable vibes.
Swans members and fans have been rewarded for the commitment to constantly showing up, with four games in family-friendly timeslots at Henson Park throughout the season.
Last year saw a record-breaking crowd of 7,171 through the gates, the highest ever attendance for an AFLW game at Henson Park.
Plus, when we host the Blues in Round 9, we will celebrate the AFLW’s annual Pride Round, celebrating with the LGBTIQA+ community.
The hill of Henson Park will be the place to be this September and October.
Fresh faces in red and white under a new era of leadership
A fresh chapter begins in 2026.
Lucy McEvoy will lead the side as the sole captain in 2026.
Two young and exciting leaders in Sofia Hurley and Cynthia Hamilton who have been elevated to vice-captains for the first time in their careers.
A change in the coaching panel under new senior coach Colin O’Riordan.
Add in new faces Taylor Smith, QBE Sydney Swans Academy draftees Alex Neyland, Molly Thomas, Maddie Quinn and there is plenty of excitement in the air with a new era of red and white this season.
Swans support on the road
Aside from our home games at Henson Park, there are plenty of great opportunities for all of our members and fans around Australia to see the team up close.
We will host the AFLW’s Indigenous Round in Coffs Harbour in Round 3 against St Kilda, trips to South Australia to face the Crows and Power in Round 1 and 6 respectively, away trips to Melbourne to face the Western Bulldogs, North Melbourne and Collingwood before a cross-country trip to Perth as we face Fremantle in the final game of the regular season.
