Sydney Swans forward Chloe Molloy has polled the full votes from the coaches following the side's 31-point victory over the GWS Giants at Henson Park on Sunday afternoon. 

Molloy was a stand out in the Sydney Derby fixture, with a game-turning four-goal haul, often showcasing her exceptional forward craft and skill - exploding in the second term with three majors that proved to be the difference. 

As the most influential forward on the ground, Molloy finished with 16 disposals, 4 goals and 361 metres gained to earn the 10 votes from the coaches.

Sofia Hurley also continued her strong form in 2026 to earn six votes from the coaches, however was forced out of the match with an injury. Hurley compiled a then game-high 25 disposals and six inside-50s.

Midfielder Laura Gardiner was busy with 18 disposals, seven tackles, three clearances and 229 metres gained to also earn six votes.

Midfielder Tanya Kennedy earned two votes with 11 disposals and a massive game-high twelve tackles.

The AFLCA AFLW Champion Player of the Year is an award voted by the AFLW Senior Coaches on a 5,4,3,2,1 basis after each home and away game, acknowledging outstanding effort to an individual player in a season.

Swans ruck Ally Morphett sits ninth on the leaderboard with 25 votes this season, while Hurley and Molloy are equal sixteenth with 20 votes. View the full leaderboard here.
