The 19-year-old launched off the back of Hawthorn's Kaiden Brand, before slotting the ensuing shot to hand Sydney a 20-point lead.
The Western Bulldogs' Sam Lloyd and the West Coast Eagles' Brad Sheppard were also nominated for AFL Mark of the Year.
