Sydney Swans co-captain Jarrad McVeigh will move into the top 5 on the Swans all time game’s list this weekend against the Cats.

McVeigh joined John Rantall in equal fifth place when he played his 260th game against Adelaide at the SCG last weekend.

The 30-year-old has had an illustrious career since being taken at pick 5 in the 2002 National Draft.

A two time Bob Skilton Medallist, McVeigh also captained the club to the 2012 premiership and was named in the 2013 All Australian side.

He made his senior debut against the Brisbane Lions in Round 1, 2004 going on to play 20 games over his first season.
